Mykonos’ most bohemian beach is found to the north of Mykonos Town, about a 7-kilometer drive away. The frequent winds make it a favorite of windsurfers, but they also keep almost everyone else away. It’s therefore never crowded, and only a small section by the bar has sunbeds.

It’s worth going up the steps to the bar for a view over the beach. You’ll see that it’s quite large but remains surprisingly (and thankfully) undeveloped. You’ll always have plenty of space to spread your towel, and often no one is around you in the crystal-clear sea (but you usually must fight the wind).
